Job Summary
Isvara Overseas is looking for a highly experienced Executive Search Consultant to lead our retained search mandates for C-suite, VP, and Director-level positions across industries. This is a prestige, confidential-search role requiring exceptional discretion, a strong professional network, and the ability to engage passive executives who are not actively seeking new opportunities.
You will manage the complete executive search lifecycle — from client briefing and research strategy to candidate assessment and offer negotiation — for some of the most sought-after leadership positions in the market.
About the Role
As an Executive Search Consultant, you will partner with Boards, CEOs, and CHROs to identify and attract top-tier executive talent for transformational leadership roles. Your assignments will span industries including technology, BFSI, infrastructure, manufacturing, and healthcare — often at the Group President, MD, CEO, and CHRO levels.
This role requires exceptional research capabilities, the ability to craft compelling executive narratives, and the interpersonal confidence to engage with senior leaders. You will manage all aspects of the search process with complete confidentiality and deliver shortlists that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage retained executive search mandates for C-suite, VP, and Director-level roles across multiple industries.
- Conduct in-depth client briefings to understand organizational culture, strategic goals, and leadership requirements.
- Execute comprehensive market mapping and research to identify target candidate pools.
- Engage passive candidates through confidential, professional outreach campaigns.
- Conduct in-depth leadership assessment interviews and competency evaluations.
- Prepare detailed candidate profiles, assessment reports, and shortlist presentations.
- Manage the offer process, compensation negotiation, and onboarding facilitation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality throughout all engagements.
- Build and cultivate a strong network of executive-level relationships across industries.
- Contribute to business development by identifying and pitching new retained search opportunities.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in executive search, headhunting, or senior-level recruitment
- Proven track record of placing C-suite or VP-level executives
- Strong professional network across corporate India and global markets
- Experience with retained search methodology and executive assessment frameworks
- Exceptional written communication for assessment reports and client presentations
- Strong research skills with experience using databases like LinkedIn Recruiter, BoardEx, ExecThread
- Ability to operate with high discretion and confidentiality
- MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification preferred
- Experience in professional services, consulting, or top-tier recruitment firms is highly desirable
- Strong business development acumen and client relationship management skills
